2023's National Reconciliation Week theme is Be a Voice for Generations. It urges all Australians to use our power and our words to create a better, more just Australia for all of us.
As part of our commitment in enhancing reconciliation among Indigenous and non-Indigenous people, it is important for Ventia to build successful relationships with Indigenous Australians and to recognise and respect the local customary needs of Indigenous people and their communities.
We sat down with some of our people at the 2023 Santos Aboriginal Power Cup that Ventia has proudly supported for 12 years, to explore what the theme Be a Voice for Generations means to them.
