Ventia manages large-scale shutdowns, turnarounds and outages for complex assets, so that our clients can focus on production.

Our in-house capability allows us to mobilise quickly and with over twenty years of experience, means we deliver cost efficiency and productivity improvements while maintaining safety standards.

We're committed to delivering turnarounds safely, on schedule, on budget and with a flawless start-up, so that our client's production output stays on track.

We pioneered a systematic approach across the whole of the asset lifecycle, from engineering and construction through to maintenance and upgrades. The phases of this approach cover business strategy, scoping, planning, execution, planning and review.

As part of any shutdown, we:

  • maintain a database of continuously improved processes and
procedures that are safety and quality assured to ISO standards
  • assign clear responsibilities for all phases using a responsibility assignment (RACI) matrix
  • conduct scheduled 'readiness reviews' for each phase to check we are on time, on budget, safe and mitigating any risks
  • develop detailed work packs so our team can execute the work to a high standard, and verify its quality
  • identify, monitor and provide transparent, real-time reporting that includes procurement costs, risk, cost to complete and critical activities.

We work collaboratively with our clients to develop the scope of work, then take responsibility for the execution, including managing subcontractors and ensuring safety. This means clients can rely on us as a single point of accountability.
