Mike was appointed CEO of Ventia at its formation in 2015.
Prior to this he was the Deputy Managing Director of Leighton Contractors and Executive General Manager of Leighton Contractors Services.
Mike has held a range of senior executive management positions in the infrastructure, telecommunications, services, buildings, and oil and gas industries. Mike holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Queensland University of Technology.
Richard was appointed CEO of Visionstream in 2015, having previously held the position of Executive General Manager Services at Thiess.
Before joining Thiess Richard spent eight years in leadership roles at Tyco Fire Protection Services, where his last role was President and CEO Asia Pacific & the Middle East. In 2010-11 Richard was recognised as one of Australia’s top 100 influential engineers by the Institute of Engineers Australia.
He is a Board member of Maroochy Waterwatch Inc. Richard has a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Hons) from Thames University, London.
Peter joined Ventia in April 2015.
Before this he held a range of executive roles at Leighton Contractors, where at various times he had overall responsibility for the NSW, ACT, WA and NZ Construction businesses and the Industrial and Energy Division.
Peter has held executive roles covering construction, mining, infrastructure, power generation, utilities and services sectors.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Engineering(Hons)from The University of Sydney.
Gordon joined Ventia in July 2017 from Macquarie Infrastructure where he was Divisional Director, Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA).
Gordon has held various executive roles in infrastructure, construction and utilities including Acting CEO of Ergon Energy in Queensland, Executive General Manager Construction at Thiess Australia, Director of Axicom Pty. Ltd., Genesee & Wyoming Australia and Prospect Water Pty. Ltd.
Gordon holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical) from University Witwatersrand, a Bachelor of Commerce from University of South Africa, is a fellow with the Institute of Engineers Australia and Graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
Stuart joined Ventia in 2015 as EGM, Strategy & Corporate Development. In 2018, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to this he worked for PwC leading due diligence teams on buy-side and sell-side transactions with large corporate clients and private equity firms.
Stuart also worked in New York with leading global private equity firms, including Apollo Global Management, on large and complex buy-outs. Stuart is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA).
Scott joined Ventia in 2017 from Coffey International where he was Group Health Safety Security Environment and Quality Manager.
Prior to this, Scott held executive level general management and safety roles at BAE Australia and PAE, following a distinguished 20-year career as a Military Officer in the Australian Army.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Organisational Development and Leadership from the University of New England.
Risto was appointed Chief Information Officer in March 2015 and is also Head of the Ventia Solutions Centre.
Previous to this he held a variety of executive and senior management IT roles with Downer, AAV, Staging Connections, Linfox, Ansett/TNT and Sphere3 Consulting.
Risto holds a Master of Business and Technology from the Australian School of Business, UNSW.
Rebelle joined Ventia in 2016.
Prior to this she was head of Human Resources for Coffey International Ltd and Alesco Pty Ltd. She started her career with BHP and subsequently held senior HR roles in BlueScope Steel.
Rebelle holds a Masters in Labour Law and Relations from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Industrial Relations from the University of Western Australia.
Jonathan joined Ventia in 2015.
He has advised international construction and service companies and developed work winning strategies for multi-billion dollar tenders and Public Private Partnerships. His specialities include risk identification, management and mitigation. Jonathan is the Company Secretary of Ventia and its subsidiaries.
In addition to his legal qualifications, Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Building and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building. Jonathan has run his own practice and worked for London and Sydney legal practices.
Kerrie joined Ventia in 2017.
Previous roles include senior Communications and Governance positions at Amcor Limited, Federation Centres, BHP Billiton and Macquarie Group. Kerrie sits on the Board of Directors for the Earthwatch Institute and is a member of the IABC Advisory Council (Vic).
She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Monash University) and a Masters of International Business (University of Melbourne). Kerrie has also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Peter joined Ventia in 2016 from Downer EDI where he held several roles including Executive General Manager – Commercial and Risk (Infrastructure division), Group Deputy Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer (Rail Division).
Prior to this, Peter held the role of Finance Manager – Operations for McConnell Dowell.
Peter holds degrees in economics, law and business administration, is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand, a member of the Institute of Company Directors, and has completed the Columbia Business School Senior Executive Program in New York.
