Ventia's graduate program has been ranked #25 in Australia's Top 100 Graduate Employers 2021 ranking.

This graduate program has achieved Top 100 status every year*, beginning in 2017.

Australian Financial Review magazine and the GradConnection jobs platform have published a list of the most popular employers among Australia's new graduates for the past seven years.

This year, Ventia's graduate program was ranked number 25 in the Top 100 status overall, as well as achieving Top 10 status in the Most Popular Property, Infrastructure and Logistics Employer and Most Popular Engineering Employer categories.

Group Executive People & Capability Sam Toppenberg says that maintaining a position in the top 100 graduate employers ranking is a testament to the quality of the program itself, as well as the teams in the business that support and train them and the graduates themselves.

"We wouldn't be in this position if we didn't have leaders and other employees across our business who put a lot of effort and care into training and mentoring our graduates each year," Sam says.

We've also had some really impressive graduates join our ranks over the years, and it's really pleasing to see how many of them have stayed with us, taking up permanent roles in our organisation.

The Top 100 awards are based on the votes of around 50,000 users of GradConnection, an online platform connecting students and graduates with prospective employers in Australia. The votes reflected which companies the graduates would prefer to work for after graduating.

Ventia's Graduate Program has been successfully placing graduates in the business for the past four years. More than 35 graduates have gained experience working in project and corporate teams across Australia and New Zealand in that time.

The #VentiaGrad program is a two-year program consisting of three rotations over a two-year period, commencing in January each year.

The program provides a training pathway and a mentoring program to help graduates create a holistic understanding of the organisation and enable them to identify the career path of their choice.

Participants round out their skills in such areas as project management, communication and teamwork.
