At Ventia, innovation is all about problem-solving and proactive research - making things better, easier, more cost effective or more efficient for our clients and for our industry.

We're proud to be involved with the Cooperative Research Centres (CRC) new three-year project, which supports industry-led collaborations between industry, researchers and the community enabling us to build a better future.

As many of Australia's water and sewer pipes approach the end of their design life, our focus is on using technology to reduce the substantial cost of replacing these pipes.

We are collaborating with 30 businesses on an industry research project focusing on new materials and technologies to increase the life span of our water and sewer pipe system. Through research and testing of modern technologies, or new smart robotics and sensors, we can keep the cost of water management down instead of replacing pipes.

Headed up by Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA), Aqua-Pipe and Sanexen's Water Main renewal technology will be used to study water main renewal market.

Commencing in February 2018, the project will be vital in helping Australia become more sustainable as well as placing us as a global leader in smart water infrastructure design, engineering, testing and management.
