Members of our Transport team joined forces with our client, Transurban, last month to participate in Melbourne's Herald Sun/CityLink 'Run for the Kids'.

The community event is one of Victoria's largest fun runs aiming to raise funds for the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

Our Transport General Manager, Vic Hensley, said the event was a great way for Ventia to support a worthy cause, providing a wonderful opportunity for staff to improve their health and wellbeing.

"The team really enjoyed themselves and a great time was had by all -  fitness, fun and team work drove us across the finish line together," Vic said.

Raising awareness and funds for the Royal Children's Hospital, is something we were all proud to do and we look forward to building on this tradition and strengthening our support in the future.

Transurban has been a proud partner of 'Run for the Kids' since it first began in 2006.

Ventia's CityLink Incident Management Contract

To help keep traffic moving efficiently and safely on one of Australia's busiest motorways, Transurban selected Ventia in 2016 to provide 24/7 incident management services for the CityLink Motorway. From May 2018, these services are being extended to also cover the West Gate Freeway.
