Ventia has been awarded the Australia Marine Complex - Common User Facility (AMC-CUF) - Operation and Facility Management contract.

The contract has an initial term of five years plus up to two extensions of five years each. Operations will commence in July 2022.

The AMC plays an important role in supporting the Western Australian economy, allowing it to continue to grow strongly. At the heart of the complex, the CUF is key to the growth of naval work, to providing ongoing support for the defence and resource sector along with other major projects.

The scope of services

The contract includes 24-hour day to day operation and management of the AMC-CUF, including business development and marketing services, asset management services, facility management services and operator services.  

The AMC-CUF is a multi-industry, multi-user industrial facility serviced by a deep-water port, a floating dock and transfer system, specialised load out wharves, extensive laydown and assembly areas and several large fabrication halls.
