Ventia has been awarded a two-year contract extension by the Commonwealth Government (Department of Finance) to deliver leasing and facilities management services to 39 Government entities across over 650 properties. 

The initial Whole of Australian Government (WoAG) contract commenced 11 September 2017and the contract extension runs from 1 July 2022 through to 30 June 2024. It is expected to generate approximately $270 million in revenue.

Through the WoAG contract, we deliver property services to the Commonwealth of Australia, including implementation services to the Department of Finance, transition-in services, and other management services. 

Group Chief Executive Officer Dean Banks said he was pleased to extend our relationship with the Commonwealth Government in this important package of works.

This contract renewal is testament to the strong relationship we have built with the Commonwealth and our relentless pursuit of service excellence. We place high importance on having repeat customers and we will seek to improve every day to deliver successful outcomes.

Group Executive Defence and Social Infrastructure Derek Osborn said the entities to which Ventia deliver services have varying portfolio complexity and a mixture of property usage types.
