Ventia

Congratulations to Ventia's Senior Facilities Manager Joe Dumbrell who was nominated as a finalist in this this year's prestigious FM Industry Awards for Excellence.

Joe was nominated in the Facilities Manager of the Year category for his work on our Whole of Australian Government (WoAG) contract.  While he didn't win, we're proud of his achievements and his continued focus on providing service excellence to our client.

The WoAG team delivers a full suite of facilities management services to 34 Commonwealth entities. As well as providing strong leadership to the team, Joe is responsible for comprehensive asset and subcontractor management, concierge services, and client relationship management.

Ventia Contract Lead Mick Kirk said Joe had excelled across many areas of service delivery, including identifying significant savings for his clients, developing and implementing soft services and building and maintaining strong and trusted relationships with clients.

"Joe's technical FM knowledge is highly valued by clients due to his skill in managing difficult contractors and landlords, his ability to resolve urgent or complex maintenance issues, and his important focus on open and honest communication with his clients," Mick said.

Joe is a well-deserved nominee for this award and it's fantastic to see him recognised by our industry.

Presented by the Facility Management Association of Australia, the FM Industry Awards for Excellence recognise leadership and innovation in the management, operation and maintenance of Australia's built environment.

The awards ceremony was held on Thursday, 2 December at various locations across VIC, NSW, QLD, WA and SA.
