Ventia secures NSW Government CO2 Storage Assessment Program contract

Ventia has secured a contract with the NSW Government to provide drilling services for Stage 2 of the NSW CO₂ Storage Assessment Program.

The exploration program coordinated by the Geological Survey of NSW (GSNSW) will gather information on the geothermal energy and carbon dioxide (CO₂) sequestration resources of regional NSW.

Ventia's General Manager for Rig & Well Services, Kyle Koziol, said: "We are experienced in drilling for carbon capture and storage projects having completed projects in Victoria for CO2CRC and Queensland for CSTCo."
