We have marked an important chapter in our ACT history with the relocation of our Canberra team from Forrest to a new office in Braddon, positioning the team closer to customers, partners and the heart of the nation's government and Defence community.

The move reflects our continued investment in Canberra and is the exciting next milestone in our ongoing focus and investment in our office property portfolio.

The new office offers improved accessibility and is just minutes from key government departments, industry partners and Canberra airport. The location strengthens our ability to engage with customers, collaborate across teams and support business growth opportunities in the ACT.

Speaking at the official opening, Derek Osborn, Group Executive Innovation and Transformation and Executive Sponsor of the ACT STEERCO, highlighted the strategic importance of Canberra to Ventia's business saying "While Ventia has had a long-standing presence in Canberra, our move provides a modern, collaborative workplace that better supports our people, customers and partners."

Being closer to the heart of Canberra's government and Defence community will help us continue to build strong relationships and deliver positive outcomes for our customers.

The official opening brought together Ventia leadership including Mark Ralston, Group Executive Defence and Social infrastructure and future CEO, John Rogers Executive General Manager Defence and teammates from across the region to celebrate the next chapter in the company's Canberra presence.

This January we also opened our new North Sydney office at Victoria Cross and we have a new Perth office planned for later in the year.
