Creating pathways to long-term employment
Established in 2015, Ventia's TRECCA program (Training, Recruitment, Employment, Care and Career Advancement) supports First Nations people into sustainable employment through a culturally safe, trauma-informed approach.
TRECCA has facilitated more than 1,600 First Nations hires nationally and provides ongoing mentoring, training and career development opportunities. In the Northern Territory, the program delivers tailored pre-employment and transition-to-work initiatives that help remove barriers to employment, build workforce readiness and create pathways into long-term careers.
Through initiatives such as the Deadly Network mentoring program and Indigenous-led employment support, TRECCA is helping create lasting social and economic outcomes for First Nations communities.
Veterans and Defence Families
As a Veteran Employer of Choice recognised by the Department of Veteran Affairs we’re committed to the ongoing employment and support of Defence personnel both past and present, and their families.
In 2024 we signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Northern Territory government to work together to deliver tailored services and support for Territory Veterans’ and their families. Our goal is to ensure the ~ 250 Australian Defence Force Personnel that transition out of the military while posted in the Territory, stay in the Territory.
