A world-class stadium needs world class mobile coverage.
Our Specialised Coverage Solutions (SCS) team has delivered the design and delivery of telecommunications technology at the redeveloped Sydney Football Stadium.
The latest in technology has allowed for a new Distributed Antenna System (DAS) to be installed by our team which enables enhanced mobile coverage and capacity right across the stadium for all who attend and use the venue
Ventia's SCS team is made up of consultants, engineers, technicians, project managers and installation crews who understand the demands in deploying multi-technology wireless and mobile coverage solutions to meet the most ambitious coverage and capacity goals in challenging environments.
With a need to ensure a telecommunications design that could meet the needs of sporting crowds and concert goers for many years to come, our work on the Sydney Football Stadium redevelopment included the delivery of more than 25 kilometres of cable and 380 antennas.
The team worked day and night, as in addition to needing to manage the delivery of state-of-the-art technology, they were required to work as part of a large team that could at times grow to more than 1,600 contractors working on various parts of the venue.

Stadium upgrade
Our client John Holland delivered the Sydney Football Stadium redevelopment with the aim of offering more visitors and patrons an improved entertainment experience through enhanced design and improvements in accessibility, safety, fan and player experience and overall improved operations.
The new stadium consists of 42,500 seats and will host a wide range of sports and entertainment.
Our SCS team has previously performed works on most stadiums across Australia, including the first MIMO deployment at a stadium at Adelaide Oval, as well as works at Stadium Australia, and most recently an upgrade to full 5G at Perth's Optus stadium.
