Greg Cox

Since joining Brisbane Motorway Services, Greg has had a major impact on his team’s morale. A straight talker by nature, he sets clear goals and provides regular and honest feedback on how they’re tracking. His commitment to creating a harmonised and productive team has led to an incredibly high staff retention rate.

Greg has adopted a flexible rostering plan and is passionate about recognising and rewarding high performance in the team. He is also a dedicated workplace trainer and assessor and delivers regular training to ensure the team is up to speed with the latest qualifications.

And as is often the case, not far from a happy and productive team is a happy client and community, with satisfaction ratings rising from 80 to 100 percent and over 300 customer compliments recorded.

The efforts of Greg and his team have been recognised as being the first tunnel operators in Australia to be awarded a Certificate IV Traffic Operations and to use Virtual Emergency Simulation training in a road tunnel environment. In addition, Greg was recently awarded an inaugural ‘Values Award’ by Ventia for demonstrating strong leadership.
