In December last year, Ventia Boral Amey Joint Venture carried out the removal of toll booths from the southern end of the Sydney Harbour Bridge for Roads & Maritime Services.

Due to over 160,000 vehicles crossing the bridge daily, planning started early to ensure traffic could continue to flow during the work.

Ventia’s Tom McDowall (Manager, Asset Closure Services) led the project and worked closely with Ventia Boral Amey Joint Venture, who also provide ongoing maintenance services for Roads and Maritime.

Removal of the remaining booths on the southern end of Sydney Harbour Bridge will be completed later in the year.
