For the past five years, Ventia has delivered facilities management services to the City of Sydney's portfolio of 251 facility assets. We are pleased now to extend that contract for a two-year period, taking it through to 21 January 2026.  

Through this contract we are responsible for the management and delivery of all hard and soft facilities management services, including maintenance and cleaning, for a range of community facilities such as community centres, libraries, leisure facilities, depots and public toilets, as well as its commercial buildings.  

Iconic buildings such as the Sydney Town Hall, Customs House and the Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre, as well as more than 100 public art installations, are also part of the contract. 

 

A prestigious contract

General Manager Local Government Katie James says this contract is one of the largest and most prestigious local government facilities management contracts in Australia and New Zealand, and her team is proud to deliver service excellence for the City.  

Servicing a delivery area of 26.15km2, a residential population of 217,748 (2022 pop) and approximately 629,000 visitors daily, we draw on strong sustainability credentials to help deliver the City's vision for a sustainable future for Sydney, where everyone does their part to respond to the climate emergency.
